1.28 billion access Facebook every day worldwide. 15 million get a daily newspaper in the UK. On average, 4 million watch the BBC 10 o' clock news.
In the age of new media, we choose how we access information from a variety of news sources.
We are in control.
That’s what we’re led to believe. But we are increasingly exposed to unreliable or distorted information. As consumers of news, our relationship to our sources is shifting.
When confusion and misrepresentation infiltrate our media consumption and our everyday conversations, who can we trust for news? Fusing a number of experiences including live, prerecorded, remote and experimental media, this durational and immersive piece will engage audiences and challenge them to directly interact with, experience and interpret a series of happenings, that are in themselves open to manipulation and assumption.
A high concept experience designed to start a conversation around borders, art, reportage, reliability, bias and prejudice.
